How To Find Social Security Statistics On NOMIS Part One #WOW

I have been planning (and promising) to do this for some time now.  I apologise for not doing so sooner.  This is part one of a short series on this topic.

Summary Statistics

If you go to this page (https://www.nomisweb.co.uk/and look at the left hand column of the box at the top, you will be able to click your way through to view a labour market profile of an area. A profile which includes data on population, employment, unemployment, qualifications, earnings, benefit claimants and businesses.

You may use this links below, if you prefer:

Within each page on the links above, you will find pull down menus for the area types.  Search through these to find the locales for which you are seeking data.  Once you have reached your area’s Labour Market Profile page, you will find a set of hypertext links that will take you to specific areas of the profile.  However, I do recommend that you look through all the figures as you might find data sets for which you were not seeking, but which may be of interest and even of help to you.
